Privacy Policy

Wonetize Inc. (“Wonetize”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at wonetize.com (the “Service”). Please read this policy carefully. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you register or update your profile we may collect your name, email address, X (Twitter) handle, country, profile image, biography, and payment or payout details (processed through Stripe).

Information from X (Twitter). When you authorise Wonetize via OAuth we receive your public X profile data including your username, display name, profile image, follower count, and post metrics. We store only what is necessary to operate the Service.

Usage data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URLs, and timestamps.

Campaign and post data. When creators submit posts or brands create campaigns, we collect the associated content, URLs, analytics, and payout information.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate and provide the Service, including matching creators with campaigns
  • To process payments and payouts via Stripe
  • To verify post performance using X analytics data
  • To communicate with you about your account, campaigns, or support requests
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service
  • To improve the platform through analytics and AI model training (using only aggregated or anonymised data)
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. We share data with trusted vendors who help us operate the Service (e.g., Stripe for payments, hosting providers). These vendors are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Between creators and brands. When a creator is matched to a campaign, their public profile (username, niche, follower count, audience score) is visible to the relevant brand.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of Wonetize or others.
  • Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyse usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access. Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction. Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion. Request that we delete your personal data (subject to legal obligations).
  • Portability. Request a machine-readable export of your data.
  • Objection. Object to certain processing activities, including direct marketing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@wonetize.com.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

9. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services, including X (Twitter) and Stripe. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their policies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
